what happened to the Christian faith–cont
I posted a Blog awhile back titled What happened to the Christian faith. this blog lists some things that are Wrong about the Christian faith, rather then leave that list as is let me add some things..
1. We offer worship that is only skin deep
2. We say we are “Christians” just to fit in and impress
3. we refuse to acknowledge that God is sovereign preferring instead to “play God”
4.We say we accept others as Christ accepted us, but DO WE really? We say it’s ok to pray for people but we also say “It’s not my problem” but do we ever stop to think what if God had said that?
5. We say we Love others, but when it comes to showing that love..well.. not so much and if we do show “love” it’s in most cases for the wrong reasons
6.We have become legalistic in the “way of faith”
7. We have Traditions, Practices and Cults that. God, The Christ, Paul and the apostles would not approve of (those will be talked about if future blogs)
8. Christians today claim to know the Bible, when in reality their is a big difference between knowing the word of God and knowing about it.
9. Christianity is taken for granted today and even used to justify murder and abuse
—– feel free to add more but its my hope that this list challenges you to get back to Scripture and prayer as the core in resolution and discernment of these issues
